Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Monday – Friday based at Auror Sinai medical center.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the clinic operations through the clinic leadership at each site, ensuring a high level of productivity and providing operational and strategic direction. Continually monitors the functioning of the clinics and revises operations/strategies as needed.
  • Responsible for the management of efficient systems and programs that provides for quality patient services and overall patient satisfaction. Responsible for resolution of any patient concerns that are not resolved at the on-site or department leadership level.
  • Oversees assigned functions of the clinics, including but not limited to scheduling, registration, account receivable, health information, imaging, laboratory clinical services and/or provider recruitment (i.e. sourcing, hiring, onboarding). Serves as a liaison to corporate departments that provide and/or support these services.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communications and working relationships with physicians, physician leadership, and advanced practice professionals. Responds to physician concerns and provides problem resolution as appropriate. Actively participates in established committees as required.
  • Participates in community activities and in the development, implementation, and evaluation of business and market growth plans and appropriate strategies. Works closely with market leaders to integrate services and develop market based growth strategies, and coordination of services throughout the market.
  • Supports the organization’s mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives. Develops, implements, and oversees processes to ensure that established policies, goals, and objectives are achieved.
  • Responsible for leasing and/or renting of office space, and responds to concerns of tenants, if applicable. Facilitates problem resolution relating to the facilities.
  • Develops and administers policies and procedures to accomplish department-specific and organizational initiatives. Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
  • Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization’s business.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration or related field.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in a health care facility that includes experience and knowledge of medical practice and clinic management, clinic operational structure systems and clinic policies, procedures and processes. Includes 3 years of management experience in management of staff, budgets and multiple clinic functions.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills including project management, process improvement, problem solving, decision making, prioritization, delegation, team building, customer service, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to successfully and positively interact with physicians and employees at all levels throughout the organization and the public.
  • Strong financial analysis and management, long range planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience in using computer applications in a medical practice setting.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Generally exposed to a normal office environment.
  • Position requires travel between clinic sites; therefore will be exposed to road and weather conditions.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
