Operations Supervisor, Days


Ocean Spray is looking for an ambitious, creative, collaborative and driven Operations Supervisor on the Day Shift to lead a team within the operations department at our Kenosha, WI facility. This individual will provide leadership and overall direction to an operations team, including execution of the production schedule, management of planned and unplanned events, performance management and positive employee/labor relations as it relates to beverage/sauce production.Must be open to the 1st shift (6am-6pm)

A Day in the Life of an Operations Supervisor, Days:

  • Lead team activities to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner according to specification.
  • Effectively train, develop, coach and appraise team members.
  • Develop, monitor and report on operating measures including general business, quality, safety, operator performance, equipment, etc. Ensure effective results.
  • Coordinate daily scheduling of the crews.
  • Develop, coordinate and oversee paperwork flow of the beverage/sauce processes.

What We Are Looking For:

  • BS/BA in business administration, industrial engineering or related major or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of the operations, processes and machinery in use and is capable of resolving problems in the production process.
  • Knowledge of general management and business skills as well as HR policies and procedures as required.
  • This position requires sound organizational, interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Responsible for training employees.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of computers.
  • Must understand and carry out the Union contract as it is applies to the job.
