HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM (Overview & Key Responsibilities):

The Inside Sales Representative position will grow lubricant, chemical and ancillary sales volume & gross margin to exceed objectives for assigned customers. The Inside Sales Representative will be expected to organize, manage, and develop a relationship with customers in their territory and will gain knowledge of industry, products and services. This position will represent and communicate Lube-Tech's products, services, policies, procedures, and programs to the customer. Accelerated performance on sales development is expected. In addition to growing an assigned territory, the position will be responsible for lead qualification and new account prospecting.

  • Develops and grows sales territory per annual plan
  • Understands and maintains pipeline within CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Participates in Lube-Tech and vendor-provided product and application training
  • Embraces coaching related to sales process, time & territory management, and relationship management
  • Actively builds rapport internally; cross-functional with all internal departments and communicates openly/effectively
  • High level of outbound prospecting over the phone, validating marketing produced leads within CRM/JDE
  • Tracks and manages sales opportunities as they progress through the process
  • Participates in the development, implementation, and communication of inside sales strategies and objectives
  • Supports pricing and margin strategies for product lines
  • Actively communicates regarding inside sales metrics and YTD status versus those metrics
  • Works well within team atmosphere and possess a positive attitude; works closely with inside Account Management team and Outside Sales team

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

Education: Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

Experience/Training:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in inside sales or a sales function; preferably in the petro-chemical industry
  • Preferred knowledge of major supplier (i.e. Mobil, Chevron, Shell)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter, motivated and demonstrates solid communication skills
