This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication (welding, brake press operation, quality technician, etc) and is interested in a position in engineering or engineering related project management.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, a Project Engineer will support OEM contract manufacturing. This position is responsible for releasing engineering documentation that will meet or exceed the customer's designed expectations. This includes working with our teams and customer teams to complete a simplified drawing package to allow our operation teams to be successful. This position also includes project management activities to ensure projects get into production with minimal problems. The design of fabricated and mechanical assemblies plus validation of these designs can be a part of this position for candidates interested in additional responsibilities.
