2nd shift - Bulk Operator - First Year $3,000 Sign On Bonus

Your role:

As a Bulk Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that Ardent Mills products meet customer requirements at the end of the milling process. Ardent Mills insists on hiring talented individuals looking to cross train in multiple areas within the Mill operation. The Bulk Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and will be expected to carry out all their activities with reliability, integrity, compliance in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner.

Your responsibilities:

• Load/Unload bulk trucks and railcars.
• Prepare COA's (Certificate of Analysis) for load orders.
• Analyze flour with lab instruments.
• Understand written customer specifications and blend flour to meet customer specifications.
• Enter data into plant control system.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance.

Essential skills and experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Effectively use computer applications
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

Good to have:

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Experience operating mobile equipment including forklift, yard tractor, bobcat or Track Mobile; will train, as needed.

Other considerations:

• The Bulk Department rotates on an Alternative Work Schedule. Each week the 12 hour shift rotates between a scheduled work week of 36 hours and 48 hours. This schedule is a consistent 4 week rotation schedule.
• The scheduled rotation typically allows for the Bulk department Team Members to have off a 3 day weekend, every other weekend. Dependent on production needs and department PTO schedule.
• Must be willing to work alongside your team including long days, on rotating or varying shifts (days, evenings, and nights) as well as overtime, weekend or holiday work.
• Must be authorized to work in the Unites states without sponsorship now and in the future
• Except where prohibited by law, all offers of employment are conditioned upon successfully passing a drug test and pre-employment background check

Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.
