JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Principal MSP Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic product marketing efforts for the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive product adoption, revenue growth, and market leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Master and maintain a comprehensive understanding and analysis of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market, as well as the SaaS Backup/Cyber Resilience landscape, including competitive intelligence gathering, and leverage insights to inform marketing strategies, decision-making and positioning within the market.

  • Conduct in-depth research to develop comprehensive user and buyer personas for both Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their end customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs, pain points, and buying behaviors.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Management team translate product features and capabilities into compelling value propositions via compelling supporting materials, such as pitch-decks, product datasheets, whitepapers, and case studies, that effectively highlight the unique features, benefits, and value propositions of our solutions tailored specifically for MSPs and their end customers.

  • Work closely with Go-To-Market Strategy leaders to ensure alignment of messaging and campaign strategies with overall company objectives and market trends.

  • Partner with Product Management to define clear goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for major product launches within the MSP Program, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure alignment and support for the SaaS MSP Program initiatives, including educational/training sessions for the MSP Go-to-Market and sales teams, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to effectively articulate the benefits and differentiation of our products to prospective MSP partners.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the MSP market within the Marketing organization, providing guidance and insights to internal teams and external agencies/partners as needed.

  • Continuously evaluate and refine the positioning and messaging of our SaaS MSP Program to ensure relevance and resonance with target audiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree a plus

  • A mix of marketing and technical experience, with 12+ years of relevant work in a B2B environment; security and SaaS experience a plus

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.

  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Demonstrated success in communicating and evangelizing technical products -- ideally involving multiple offerings, audiences, and deliverables

$165,500 - $287,500
