Description
  • Coordinate, direct, and monitor all HES compliance, programs, issues, and results. Assist facility operations in developing, monitoring, and instituting programs and procedures to ensure sound and legal HES operations and maintenance of the facility.
  • Partner with the operations and maintenance teams at each terminal to ensure HES excellence.
  • Perform HES hazard recognition and risk assessment inspections to identify potential OSHA, MSHA, WVOMHS&T, Coast Guard, ACOE, EPA, LDEQ, IDEM and WVDEP compliance related issues.
  • Responsible for all environmental permit and plan inspections, training and report submittals for Air, Water, Waste, ACOE and Mining and Reclamation Permits, along with FRP, FSP, SWROA, SPCC, GWPP and SWPPP site plans.
  • Develop, revise, and conduct employee HES training annually. Maintain required related records.
  • Responsible for the development, review and completion of various regulatory HES reports to ensure accuracy and established timelines are met.
  • Collect, review and provide all requested data for annual sustainability reporting.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures necessary to meet requirements of facility HES policies, and federal, state, county or local regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain facility operations and maintenance in compliance with all federal, state, county and local HES operating permits and plans.
  • Monitor and maintain facility environmental compliance with all permits, requirements, and regulations (including RCRA, EPCRA, TSCA, CAA, CWA, DOT, etc.).
  • Functions as a subject matter expert (SME) to facility team members on HES regulatory issues and participates in incident investigations and root cause failure analysis.
  • Conduct incident response activities.
  • Lead HES projects or initiatives at all logistics facilities.
  • Serve as the ISO 9001:2015 Management System Representative. Assist and participate with ISO 9001:2015 internal, renewal, and surveillance audits.
  • Provide assistance with HES compliance and management at other facilities, as assigned.
