We are looking for a detail-oriented individual interested in working full-time studying the impact of drinking during the transition to the legal drinking age. This position will coordinate a team of undergraduate research assistants in EEG data collection after administering alcohol to participants in our lab. If you are interested in building your in-depth research experience and working with the National Data Archive (NDA), then this is the position for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering alcohol to study participants and collecting EEG data
  • Coordinating schedules and payment to participants in the study
  • Training and working with undergraduate researchers

Shift

Typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Occasional nights and weekends may be required based on participant scheduling needs.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Completion of the Collaborative Institute Training Initiative (CITI Program) is required within two weeks of starting employment. It's a requirement for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in statistical software programs such as R, matlab, or SAS and data collection software like e-Prime. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a research assistant.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $16.72 to $20.00. This is a grant funded position. Continued funding is determined annually.
