DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) is looking for a Regional Operations Supervisor to accomplish company objectives by supervising the daily operations of a team of Care Coordinators, in the South East Texas and Louisiana market(s).

This is a HYBRID position - the Regional Operations Supervisor must be capable of leading a team from his/her home office (remotely) & willing to travel throughout his/her market, to successfully engage with IKC teammates & providers.

Details:

  • Monthly travel to connect with direct reports

  • Quarterly travel for team meetings within NJ and PA

  • Once per year annual travel for leadership meetings to HQ in Denver, CO

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervise a Regional team of Care Coordinators and their day-to-day operations

  • Provide leadership, onboarding, training, coaching and development to team of direct reports

  • Create & foster a positive, fulfilling work environment

  • Provide your Regional team of Care Coordinators with direct support, at regular intervals, and encourage professional growth

  • Adequately communicate job expectations & parameters to direct reports, ensuring quality patient care is always delivered

  • Manage all teammate employment activity: hiring, promoting, job performance, disciplinary actions, termination, etc.

  • Organize, monitor, evaluate and manage team & individual workflow - ensuring metrics are on track to be met

  • Partner with People Services regarding any employee relations issues, timely & appropriately

  • Facilitate teammate development (PDRs, coaching, mentoring, training)

  • Complete teammate evaluations and establish quarterly & annual goals

  • Collaborate with direct reports and upper management to create & implement those professional development goals

  • Learn, know, understand & follow teammate guidelines, employment policies & department/company procedures

  • Understand basic wage & hour laws, as well as federal, state & local laws/regulations

  • Create informational decks & spreadsheets; lead team meetings and present to upper management, as necessary

  • Spearhead reoccurring 1:1's with direct reports

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of medical & operations records; comply with all data collections & auditing activities

  • Review & approve time for non-exempt direct reports

  • Track overtime, attendance and PTO

  • Conduct formal ad hoc training

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience, leading a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Ability to handle & maintain confidential information and/or issues, using sound discretion and judgement.
