Process Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for process optimization, methods improvements, and application of the Corporate Quality program to the operations of the coating plant. This responsibility includes improving overall productivity, and incorporating processes and methods which will assure the consistent production of products to meet or exceed required specifications.

NECESSARY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering. Proficiency in the use of computer software and applications including Microsoft Office is required.  High level mechanical aptitude and the ability to independently recommend and complete projects are required.  Experience with PLC programming and SPC implementation are a definite plus.

This person must also have the ability to work with and communicate technical information to a wide group of customers, co-workers and managers with varying technical comprehension.   He/she must be able to aggressively support his/her conclusions and recommendations in a constructive, professional manner.
