Financial Analyst

Qualifications

We have an excellent opportunity for a financial analyst to play an important role in our growing, market leading organization.  Successful candidates will have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices with a focus on utilizing financial data systems in preparing consolidated journal entries, analyzing monthly P&L and reporting other financial information, such as SEC filings and financial exhibits for earnings releases.  As a supporting member of the Controller’s Department, the selected individual will serve a key role in recommending reconciliation entries, researching technical accounting issues and suggesting financial reporting improvements.  Candidates will also have the ability to perform a wide variety of special projects at the request of senior management in conjunction with their daily responsibilities.

Education and Experience

We require a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA (or progress towards becoming certified), and 3 to 5 years of accounting experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  Experience with Hyperion in a public accounting environment is a plus.
