Job Description

The Associate Product Manager, Product Development Communications (APM) will be responsible for tactical support of clinical communications within the Health Strategies Division. Working under the direction of the Associate Director, Product Development and working with other Product Managers, the APM will manage marketing and outreach efforts to achieve their appointed program goals and positive health outcomes. This will include assuring the timely and flawless execution of clinical communication and overseeing quality assurance of all external communications.

The APM will work with the Population Health and Product Development teams to facilitate quality product development and population health product promotion and sales materials. The APM will support clinical mailings (including, but not limited to Formulary Changes, Clinical Transitions, and Drug Recalls).

Strong communication and project management skills are necessary in addition to proven writing and editing experience and experience with marketing health education materials.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assure overall quality of communications from the Health Strategies' Division. This will include meeting regulatory mailing requirements, logo/brand management, client customization requirements, and final technical editing of all external communications.
  • Manage clinical communications-related policy & procedure updates to assure compliance.
  • Manage the creation of clinical content of print and electronic promotional material for website and clinical newsletters.
  • Support the development of related product communication aspects that fosters teamwork and maintains an outstanding customer service culture, including internal customers.
  • In partnership with product development teams, create and evaluate the value proposition for each segment and product solutions.
  • Apply project management techniques to effectively manage project scope, resources, budget, and timeline for clinical communication initiatives
  • Assist with outcomes metrics to measure business impact of outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with market research related to population health programs and services.
  • Maintain an environment of collaboration and cooperation among departments.
  • Provide effective communication of Navitus' vision, mission, values, goals and policies.
  • Develop a keen understanding of the Health Strategies portfolio in order to support sales and account management activities
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
  • Other related duties as assigned/required.
Requirements

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year product management/development, corporate communications or related experinece is required. Experience in health, biomedical or pharmaceutical fields is preferred. Ability to write reports and articles for publication that conform to prescribed styles and formats.
